Subject: Sweat Pants Leggings #1
See what I mean the bumpy-ness of the seams? yea bad.
Side view, I guess it's not that bad.
The back, looks much better than the front view, it's just smoother.

Yessssss....I attempted making leggings out of sweat pants! lol. After I was done making my shirt early July, I wondered what else I can make. And I remember my mom saying in early July, lets one day make pajamas, and I said oh...ok. LOL. And then I though, OHHHH!!!! MAYBE I CAN MAKE LEGGINGS OUT OF MY OLLLD SWEAT PANTS?! I have 4 olllld sweat pants, and all 4 are the same colors, & same thing. lol So I told my mom, that I want to get one of the old sweat pants, and make it into leggings/pj's? and she was cool with it, and said it's easy to make and gave me advice on how to make it. Sooo on July 24th, which was a saturday, I decided to make them. I took my moms advice, wore the sweat pants the opposite way, and pinned the needles on myself, and how tight I want it and what not. I had to do it TWICE!! LOL Because the first time when I pinned it on myself, I made it too tight that I couldn't take off the pants to sew them, so had to re-do it, and make it not so tight. After I took it off, I noticed it wasn't so straight the pants, it was a bit bumpy around where the seams were going to be. I thought to myself, hmmmmm....when you sew, the fabric must be straight, so it will come out straight looking, you know, not all bumpy like sorta over lapping each other? (I'm horrible at explaining. :P ) I didn't listen to myself, and I sewed it, just to see how it was gonna turn out. After I was done sewing, I turned it inside out, wore it, and yayyyy!! It fitted! :) But yea, the seams on the sides weren't smooth. -.- But overall it wasn't that bad, minus the bumpy seams. I wanted to do more with my sweat pants leggings, I had some plaid flannel fabric, and I put it against the leggings, and I liked it, it was cute. So I thought of adding knee patches! :D But before I cut a hole on my leggings, I took pics, and IM SOOOOO GLAD I DID!!! Because, I fucked up on the knee patch. -.- I accidentally cut the knee hole where I was going sew the plaid flannel patch a lil big. -.- Sooo the plaid flannel didn't really match up, which suuuuucked!!!!! But I did sew it on, but yea, there's a lil hole between the sweat leggings and the plaid flannel. -.- Yea, it looks like crap to me. :P I was bummed out, that it didn't turn out good. But also I was GLAD that I took pics, before I fucked it up. But guess what?! I MADE ANOTHER PAIR OF SWEAT PANTS LEGGINGS!! LOL And this time IT CAME OUT PRETTY GOOD! :D I'll take pics of it soon, and post them up on the next or so post! :D

About Me

Hey, My names Eliza, and i love to draw my own fashion illustration designs, and i also love to make things. I'm currently learning how to sew, and i'll post some of my creations on here :D And of course my drawings. :) I love FASHION & ART and this is what my blog is about. :)

The first step is to make sure your Blogger is in Classic Template mode. Template tab >> Edit HTML >> Revert to Classic Template

There's a section under the blogger code that requires you to put in your link. It will show up under your post as "posted by yourblogname @ 12AM" and yourblogname will have a link attached to it. Edit that link to anything you like; an email, a webpage, etc.

Remember that all these sections are editable. You can put anything in (tagboards, music players, youtube vids) or take out entire sections. Follow the coding. For this layout, the right module items should not exceed 219 pixels in width.
